Return to: Lifecycle states

Lifecycle states

In this document

Which states can a business object enter, and what triggers or guards each change?

No supported lifecycle-state transition model can be recovered for the Customer record or Order record from the supplied evidence. The sources expose an order backlog field with observed y and n values, plus an optional paid-date field, but they do not define those values as named lifecycle states or show operations that transition between them. E0009 The chosen, exist, and cur variables describe UI or selection control rather than business-object lifecycle states. E0009

The model therefore contains no state elements or transitions. This avoids treating field values, selection flags, known enum-like labels, rejected operations, or successful record insertion/deletion as lifecycle transitions without explicit evidence. E0009 The available order flows show adding, modifying, querying, and deleting records, but do not assign named lifecycle states to those operations. E0009

Gaps

  • No explicit Customer record lifecycle states are supplied. The evidence describes customer insertion, update, deletion, querying, and deletion guards, but does not name states or establish state transitions. E0009
  • No explicit Order record lifecycle states are supplied. The backlog field is mapped to orders.backlog, and visible data contains y and n, but the evidence does not define their meanings as lifecycle states or show transitions between them. E0009
  • The paid-date field is evidenced for orders, including populated and empty values, but no source-supported transition into or out of a paid state is shown. E0009
  • Record creation and deletion are operations, not evidenced lifecycle-state transitions; deletion may also be declined or may produce misleading user feedback, so it cannot establish a successful transition from the supplied material. E0010
  • The source does not establish initial or terminal states, transition triggers, guards for lifecycle changes, or whether the displayed form definitions correspond semantically to the unavailable binary forms. E0010

Recovery limitations

  • No supported relationships reconstructed.
